Mr. Ali Marcel Samora Jesse is a qualified ICT Practitioner who has enthusiasm about Technology. He graduated in 2011 From Newhorizon ICT Centre in Arusha Tanzania - a constituent of Newhorizon ICT Centre in India. He has served in various companies in East Africa both Tanzania and Kenya in different capacities. He first joined TANAPA (Tanzania National Park headquarters) in 2012 where He served as networking technician, He then moved to Montessori Training Institute as the system administrator in 2013. In 2015 he joined Faulu Microfinance Bank as an ICT technician. In 2016 he worked with IEBC (Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission) as VRA (Voter Registration assistant). He has served in various schools as Computer studies teacher and network engineer. from 2017 to 2019 he was the head of ICT and teacher at Word of Life Christian Academy-Diani, 2019 to 2020 he was the head of ICT Department in Goodrich Group of schools Nairobi. He is currently the head of ICT Department in MM Shah and MV Shaha Academy Mombasa. 
 
​This Book covers comprehensively the Basic computer literacy and actual function of the system in our education system from the "A" to "O" Levels in computer studies curriculum. 
This Book is recommended for pupil's of as lower level in class 4 to class 8 in the "A". Level and in the "O" level from Form 1-4 for the computer students as well as the college beginners who takes ICT and other related course. The syllabus topics have been covered to a sufficient depth. 
This Book adopts a very meaningful and practical approach to the introduction to the computer studies and ICT. The networking topic is comprehensively dealt with focusing on making more networking engineers, and many other useful topics that will mould computer students into expertise. There are also exercises comprising of short and descriptive questions at the end of each sub-topics and revision questions at the end of each chapter to provide adequate assessment of pupil's understanding of the subject at each stage. 
 
 
With the introduction of computer studies at the primary level by the government as a subject has a created a great demand for standardised textbooks to teach the subject. I wrote this Book to ease my teaching and practices with my learners, I therefore find this Book most appropriate to meet the demands of every learner. It will be invaluable text for pupils, students taking computer studies and other related courses at all the stages of education from primary 4 to collage beginners.  
The material presented in this Book has been well researched and is most up-to-date. The subject matter is intensively covered to adequate depth. The practical sessions and exercises that have been included in this Book are extremely useful and considered to be very helpful to the learners.
